Ms. Ricks founded Ricks Consulting Group, Inc. which advises hedge funds and family offices on strategy development and talent acquisition. She launched the firm in 1994 with her first client being one of today’s most successful hedge funds, D.E. Shaw. She has counseled leading multi-strategy firms during their growth and expansion phase into new asset classes and strategies by helping clients understand their strategic and competitive positioning in the market place. Her proprietary research process has identified new investment opportunities for leading alternative firms to capitalize on synergies within their existing business structures.
Ms. Ricks has closed hundreds of complex deals with the founders of multi-billion dollar, multi-strategy funds. Her proven track record of onboarding top talent to launch successful strategies has allowed her to align her revenue with her clients. Building on her extensive experience, Ms. Ricks created the proprietary POPM model (Portfolio of Portfolio Managers), which enabled her to be the first to bear “netting risk” on innovative deal structures.
Ms. Ricks was one of four finalists in the Ernst & Young’s National Young Entrepreneur of Year Award in 1998 for her groundbreaking recruiter training venture, Internet Research Services, her second company that she ran alongside Ricks Consulting Group from 1996 to 1999.
In addition to her pioneering work in alternatives, Ms. Ricks is a recognized advocate for access to healthcare. Since her diagnosis with breast cancer and the debut of her HBO documentary, The Education of Dee Dee Ricks, she has given over 100 keynote addresses to Fortune 500 companies, foundations, financial service conferences and non-profit organizations in the US and abroad. Ms. Ricks is a sought after inspirational speaker on access to quality healthcare, patient navigation, alternatives and entrepreneurship. She understands the social injustices underserved individuals face in healthcare treatment as well as in their day-to-day activities. In addition to her commitment to access to healthcare and equality, she wanted to take on an issue that would impact her sons whom are avid hockey players. After all, charity begins at home. She is the Founder of The NextGen AAA Foundation, a 501(c)3, that aims to shape and educate promising top-level youth hockey players, facilitating their path to higher education. Ms. Ricks is the national spokesperson for RezilientDirect, the leading provider of supplemental health insurance and UNYQ, a medical device company that provides personalized prosthetics and orthotics.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Health and Human Performance (HHP) at the University of Florida in 1991 and was inducted into the University of Florida’s HHP Hall of Fame in 2016.

Jennifer Enslin is a Managing Principal of Ricks Consulting Group, Inc. Previously she spent eight years on the buy side, heading up marketing and investor relations at two different hedge funds. At Moon Capital, a $2bn global long/short equity fund, she was responsible for all aspects of investor communications and client prospecting, and successfully initiated relationships with large state pensions, consultants, fund of funds and other large allocators. At Caxton HAWK, she created and implemented a comprehensive marketing/investor relations strategy for the newly launched quantitative trend-following hedge fund. She was responsible for building the IR/marketing infrastructure and was involved in the strategic direction of the business. Her tenure on the buy side provided her with valuable insight, understanding and relationships in the hedge fund industry. Jennifer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Cum Laude with a BA and from Columbia University with a joint MBA and Masters of International Affairs. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is currently a board member of Covenant House New York.
Robyn Browdy, Senior Managing Principal, joins Ricks Consulting Group, Inc. after 10+ years of buyside investing experience in both the hedge fund and private equity industries. She began her career in private equity as an Analyst at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners but early on recognized her true passion for the stock market and soon transitioned to the hedge fund industry. She has worked at several renowned investment firms including Alson Capital Partners, Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, and Highline Capital Management. Most recently Robyn ran a consumer oriented portfolio at Waterfront Capital Partners where she invested across the homebuilding, construction, retail, and restaurant sectors. Having been an investment professional herself, Ms. Browdy has a unique understanding of the skill set that is required to be successful in the hedge fund industry.
Robyn graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology where she earned a BSE from The Wharton School as well as a BAS in Systems Engineering from The School of Engineering and Applied Science
Marinette Gleich, Managing Principal, joins Ricks Consulting Group Inc. after 10+ years running global hedge fund operational due diligence teams for three main French funds of hedge funds management companies: most recently at Natixis Multi-Manager, prior to that at Axa Investment Managers and at Olympia Capital Management. Prior to working in the hedge fund industry, Marinette was in the Goldman Sachs Group, first as an internal auditor and thereafter as a project manager for Archon (Real Estate Asset Management arm of the Goldman Sachs Group). Marinette started her career in 1994 as an auditor at Deloitte and Touche. She graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Sociales, ESSEC, Paris, in 1994.
